POSITION INFO:

Our client in the Logistics industry is urgently looking for an experienced Road Freight Branch Manager to join their team

Location: Polokwane, Limpopo

Requirements: if you do not meet the requirements your application will not be considered

• Matric
• Degree/Diploma in Transportation Management
• 5 years of Transport Management experience
• 5 years of Road Freight Transport experience 
• Must be fluent in English
• Must have a valid code 8 drivers license (non-negotiable)

Responsibilities:

• Full management of all operations, sales, and finances within the branch.
• Management of Drivers and Floor Staff. Including leave and disciplinary
• management.
• Liaising with Customers and Top Management regarding the performance of the branch.
• Vehicle Management.
• Ensuring that all Company vehicles and trailers are in good running order.
• Ensuring that all vehicles have sufficient staff.
• Management and consistent planning and monitoring of vehicle routes and
• performance.
• Full management of vehicle documentation including manifests and checklists.
• Driver PRDP and vehicle COF.
• Full coordination of Collections and Deliveries.
• Ensuring the checking, offloading, sorting, and assembling of collected goods in the warehouse is done according to the Company standards and procedures.
• Management of Returns and Damaged stock as per the company procedure.
• Stacking, marking, and addressing of these goods according to the waybill
• information, if there isn’t a waybill make a waybill for the stock.
• Completion of accurate service reports including the diesel consumption reports, failed delivery reports, POD reports, and management reports.
• Completing daily debriefings.
• Monitoring and adhering to all Health and Safety requirements of the site.
• Full management of branch KPI’s.
