Robotic Specialist

Purpose

Perform general electrical maintenance, preventative maintenance as well as fault finding maintenance on industrial robots, project installations and robotic applications.

Key Performance Areas

• Repair and maintain robots to ensure customer and company quality standards are met
• Do fault finding and preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedule and according to job
• Cards and relevant works instructions
• Compile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data
• Ensure that company procedures, works instructions and quality systems are adhered to at all times
• Participate actively in the departmental as per company requirements
• Ensure that work practices comply with the company SHEQ procedures and works instructions

• Fault finding and maintenance of presses

• Read electronic drawings

Qualifications/Experience

• Grade 12
• Qualified Electrician / Millwright
• Min. 5 years’ experience as a Robot Technician within an automotive environment
• Extensive working knowledge of PLC programming, Siemens TIA, S7, Festo and ABB stampmaste
