SUMMARY:
Roll Shop Foreman

POSITION INFO:
MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
▪A proven track record in a production environment with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related Foreman / Supervisory position.

A Diploma or equivalent; higher education such as an Associate’s Management, Industrial Engineering or related field is preferred.
▪Qualified Artisan: Fitter & Turner or Boilermaker
▪The ability to read drawings (Mechanical).
▪Proven track record of Shop floor experience.
▪Knowledge of the OSH Act and experience in the administration of Safety, Health and Environmental requirements.
▪Knowledge of current labour law and basic I.R. procedures.
▪Strong knowledge of quality management.
▪Welding experience required.
▪Computer literate (particularly Excel) and knowledge of Syspro is a requirement.
▪Good verbal and written English communication skills at all levels are essential.
▪Must we willing and able to work, day and night shift.
▪Previous experience of setting of machinery is required, including CNC machines.
▪Excellent cutting, drilling, tapping and welding knowledge is required with proven track record.
