POSITION INFO:
Our Client is looking for a Full Stack Ruby Developer who enjoys owning the full development lifecycle. You’ll build features, optimise systems, improve deployments, and contribute to both their web and mobile products.
You’ll work closely with the
CTO and product team, shaping their technology as they continue to scale. If you have experience with Ruby on Rails and AWS, plus an interest in React Native, you’ll thrive here.
Responsibilities:- Build and maintain clean, reliable, scalable code in Ruby on Rails
- Manage and improve AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, Ubuntu, Nginx, Redis, Aurora Postgres)
- Enhance deployment workflows and operational systems following DevOps principles
- Contribute to the mobile app using React Native (an advantage, not a must)
- Diagnose performance issues, bottlenecks, and bugs — and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with product and design teams to ship new features
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails and key libraries (Devise, Omniauth, RSpec)
- Solid AWS experience across common services
- Frontend experience (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and frameworks (React/React Native)
- Understanding of scalable application architecture
- Ability to implement automated testing and unit tests
