POSITION INFO:

A niche Chinese accounting firm, servicing Chinese-owned businesses, is seeking a highly accurate and skilled SAIPA Accountant to join their team.

This role suits a handsâon professional who is detailâdriven, deadlineâfocused, and comfortable managing the full accounting function with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Full accounting function, including creditors, debtors, cashbook, general ledger, fixed assets, and bookkeeping up to trial balance
Monthly reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and IFRS for SME financial statements
All tax matters: VAT, PAYE, income tax submissions, payments, reconciliations, and SARS queries
Payroll processing, PAYE recons, external audit management, and company secretarial duties
Oversight of junior bookkeepers and the execution of ad hoc finance and compliance projects

Who Should Apply:

BCom Degree with completed articles and registered SAIPA Professional Accountant
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work under pressure
Proficient in advanced Excel, MS Office, Sage Business Cloud Accounting & Payroll, Draftworx, and SARS eFiling
Independent, honest, solutionâdriven professional with strong communication and teamwork skills
