JOB SUMMARY:
A popular Food company is looking for a suitably experienced and SAIPA qualified Accountant for their operations in the Pretoria area

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day financial accounting duties
Loading of all payments for service providers and suppliers on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Liaising with the maintenance team to ensure the effective administration of Insurance claims
Ensure correct allocation of Insurance funds to financial statements
Rental analysis through the Comparison of rental agreements and Leases to ensure correct invoicing
Monthly utility analysis and escalation of deviations to service providers
Assist with Sales Reconciliation versus banking in conjunction with the finance team and external service providers
Resolving monthly Profit and Loss Queries with various teams/stores within the company
Creating of monthly “Turnover” document in the required format for Landlords
Assist with Annual Procurement audits
Support the Finance team via the annual financial audits
Assist in drafting of process for Vendor Vetting
Working in conjunction with the finance team in implementing various payment and related reconciliation systems

Requirements

Grade 12/Matric

BCompt/BCom Accounting degree
Must have completed SAIPA or SAICA Articles
Must have 3 – 5 years relevant accounting experience
MS Office, Advanced Excel skills, Xero, Sage or similar accounting software experience
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Salary is dependent on experience and relevant skill set
