SUMMARY:
Our client in Erasmuskloof area, Pretoria-East area is looking for young accounting professionals interested in obtaining the Professional Accounting (SA) designation, through the 3-year article program provided by SAIPA.Â Our client is a registered accredited training centre and provides training and guidance to become an accountant of the future.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Must have an interest in accounting and want to study in the future towards a SAIPA accreted degree OR be studying towards a B. Com (SAIPA) Accounting Degree (1st, 2nd, 3rd year) / OR honours degree
Pastel, Sage One, Draftworx experience would be highly beneficial
Must have a very strong academic record
Team player

Â
Duties will include but is not limited to:

Capture transactions in accounting records
Perform reconciliations
Perform bookkeeping to balance sheet
Prepare financial statements
Perform tax calculations and complete tax returns
Complete VAT submissions and calculations
Perform general accounting functions
Using Pastel, Sage One and Draftworx
Assist managers with various client matters, including administrative work
Payroll duties
PAYE calculations and submissions
CIPC registrations, queries, and submissions
