We are looking for a SAIPA Registered Professional Accountant to join our client's team. This is a senior role where you will take ownership of the full accounting function, lead a small team, and ensure compliance across finance, tax, HR, and statutory requirements. POSITION INFO:
Job Title: SAIPA Registered Professional Accountant
Location: Office-based, Hermanus, Overberg, Western Cape
Salary: TBC

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing full-function accounting: financial statements, reconciliations, budgets, and cash flow.
Overseeing stock control and ensuring accurate audits and reconciliations.
Handling HR and payroll: from monthly processing to compliance with labor laws.
Preparing and submitting all SARS returns (VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL, Income Tax) and liaising with SARS when needed.
Ensuring CIPC compliance with annual returns and statutory recordkeeping.
Leading and mentoring the finance and admin team while driving performance and growth.
Improving and digitizing processes and systems to create efficiencies.

What We’re Looking For

Registered Professional Accountant (SAIPA) with completed SAIPA articles.
BCom Accounting or related degree.
At least 10 years’ experience in a corporate accounting environment.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing a small to medium team.
Strong knowledge of Pastel, Excel, and South African tax compliance.
Organized, analytical, and proactive with excellent communication skills.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
Own reliable transport and able to work full-time, on-site.
