This is a senior role where you will take ownership of the full accounting function, lead a small team, and ensure compliance across finance, tax, HR, and statutory requirements. POSITION INFO:
Job Title: SAIPA Registered Professional Accountant
Location: Office-based, Hermanus, Overberg, Western Cape
Salary: TBC

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing full-function accounting: financial statements, reconciliations, budgets, and cash flow.
• Overseeing stock control and ensuring accurate audits and reconciliations.
• Handling HR and payroll: from monthly processing to compliance with labor laws.
• Preparing and submitting all SARS returns (VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL, Income Tax) and liaising with SARS when needed.
• Ensuring CIPC compliance with annual returns and statutory recordkeeping.
• Leading and mentoring the finance and admin team while driving performance and growth.
• Improving and digitizing processes and systems to create efficiencies.

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Professional Accountant (SAIPA) with completed SAIPA articles.
• BCom Accounting or related degree.
• At least 10 years’ experience in a corporate accounting environment.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing a small to medium team.
• Strong knowledge of Pastel, Excel, and South African tax compliance.
• Organized, analytical, and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Own reliable transport and able to work full-time, on-site.
