SALES EXECUTIVE - Perm – Bloemfontein

POSITION INFO:

(ON & OFF TRADE – PREMIUM LIQUOR INDUSTRY)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join a fast-paced Commercial Sales team focused on growing premium liquor brands across both On-Trade and Off-Trade channels.

This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships, driving sales performance, and executing impactful brand strategies within a competitive market.

Job Purpose

To drive sales growth, enhance brand visibility, and increase market share of premium liquor brands within an allocated territory by building strong trade relationships, executing brand strategies, and ensuring excellent in-store execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage hybrid channel sales growth across independent and key account customers (formal and informal markets, On & Off Trade)
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
• Conduct ongoing market research, competitor analysis, and implement effective sales strategies
• Service existing customers and achieve new business development targets
• Increase brand listings at store level and ensure strong SKU presence
• Manage customer accounts including credit limits, payment terms, and collections
• Achieve and exceed sales targets (target-driven environment)
• Provide accurate feedback on market and competitor activity
• Coordinate and support events, activations, and in-store promotions (including weekends and public holidays when required)
• Maintain accurate and timely reporting and administration as required by management
• Ensure product availability, stock rotation, and effective merchandising across channels
• Drive full portfolio sales across all SKUs
• Retain existing customers and proactively source new business opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

• Matric (compulsory)
• Tertiary qualification (Certificate or Diploma) preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a sales environment
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the liquor industry
• Currently working in the Alcohol/Liquor industry advantageous
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
