SALES REPRESENTATIVE: RETAIL PUMPS - BLOEMFONTEIN (4104)

SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading stockist of a wide range of water pumps and accessories requires an experienced sales representative to call on the petrochemical building, pharmaceutical, chemical, engineering, agricultural and related industries.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

• 3 or more years’ experience as a Sales Representative selling of water pumps to customers in the Northern Cape and surrounding areas
• Computer literate: Ms word and excel
• Valid driver’s license (Company car will be provided or a car allowance)
• Must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Able to work independently and travel to Gauteng once a month for a sales meeting
• Able to close deals
• Meet and exceed sales targets
• Be technical minded
• Able to select a pump for a customer (waste & dewatering pumps, engineering pumps, submersible, centrifugal, mono, and related pumps)
• Good telephone and communication skills
• Reside in Bloemfontein or willing to relocate
• A stable work record and have contactable references
• Of sober habits
• Able to work retail hours

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with customers
• Assist Customers with their selections and offer technical advice
• Process and follow up on orders
• Increase market awareness
• Cold call for new business
• Achieve sales targets
