SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading stockist of a wide range of water pumps and accessories requires an experienced sales representative to call on the petrochemical building, pharmaceutical, chemical, engineering, agricultural and related industries.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Grade 12 / equivalent

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years working experience in the retail Pumps industry is essential
Technically minded
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
Have a stable work record and contactable references
Valid South African Drivers license and own reliable transport
Able to work under pressure and meet sales targets
Able to select a pump for a customer (waste & dewatering pumps, engineering pumps, submersible, centrifugal, mono and related pumps

Duties & Responsibilities:

Carry out daily visits to new clients
Meet sales targets
Promote products
Report sales trends
Monitor competitor activity
Prepare and present visit plans and reports on a weekly basis
Strong selling skills and product knowledge in the fluid control industry
Some professional training in Marketing, and being able to speak English and Afrikaans fluently
Skills in Networking and Negotiating
