SUMMARY:
Our client servicing the petrochemical industry requires an experienced sales rep to resell stainless steel pipes, fittings, and flanges.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

At least 3 years’ sales experience reselling of stainless-steel pipes, fittings, flanges, and valves within the Petrochemical industry as an External Sales Representative
Have a stable work record and contactable references
Valid South African Drivers license and own reliable transport
Strong external sales background
Must be computer literate: MS Office Suite / Syspro
Intermediate Excel skills and the ability to learn
Ability to handle high volume workload
Excellent time management
Attention to detail
Above average administrative skills
Good communication skills both internally and externally
Problem solving ability
Strong Personality
Self-Accuracy
Initiative
Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision
Goal-driven person
Great teamwork skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

Sales experience and ability to promote sales and the use of one’s initiative and good customer relations is most important
Must have good sales administration and ability to manage one’s workload
Experience in the preparation of customer quotations, cost calculations, replying timeously in accordance with companies’ regulations
Teamwork and sales personality with good teamwork is most important
Constant communication with the Warehouse daily with regards to deliveries and physical stock availability
Advise customer immediately of any issues regarding stock were applicable with our terms and conditions
Respond to and resolves account queries in a timeously manner
