SAP ABAP Developer

POSITION INFO:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Strong ABAP development skills with focus on HR/payroll
- Is used to working with IDEs like Eclipse and AI-supported programming (e.g. GitHub Copilot)
- Proficiency in SAP HCM (H4S4) data model, especially the HR/PY data model
- Experience with classic and modern interface technologies (ALE/iDOC, ODATA/APIs, Kafka etc.)
- Form generations using SAP Script, Smart Forms or Adobe Forms for payroll documents
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and debug issues and optimize processes
- Ability to produce technical documentation (system designs, functional & technical specs) and support testing activities
- Eager to learn about new technologies
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:- Exposure to Agile methodologies and routinized use of JIRA / xRay / Confluence
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP HCM and Payroll processes
- Experience building SAPUI5 / Fiori integration points for UI needs Hands-on experience with Kafka, APigee or N8n
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of experience in ABAP development
- 5+ years work in SAP HCM and Payroll
