SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer (Expert) with strong Treasury and Finance expertise to join a global, enterprise-scale IT environment.
This is a senior role suited to a functional-technical expert who can drive SAP Treasury solutions within an S/4HANA landscape while collaborating across multiple markets and stakeholders.

About the Role
You will play a key role in delivering and optimising Cash Management and Payment solutions, working within a global SAP S/4HANA template. This role combines functional expertise, configuration, and technical support (ABAP debugging) to ensure seamless Treasury operations across regions.Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Configuration
- Lead Fit-to-Template workshops and drive FIT/GAP analysis
- Configure SAP Treasury modules within the S/4HANA global template
- Design and document functional specifications, process flows, and test scripts
- Align solutions with global standards while accommodating approved local requirements
Integration & Delivery
- Coordinate integrations across SAP Finance modules and external banking systems
- Work with interfaces such as IDocs, RFCs, and middleware platforms
- Support development teams with clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Ensure smooth integration across Treasury, FI/CO, and external systems
Testing & Go-Live
- Lead unit testing, integration testing, and system integration testing
- Prepare and execute cutover plans and Go-Live activities
- Provide hypercare and post-implementation support
- Ensure defect resolution and system stability
Support & Optimisation
- Troubleshoot system issues and support production environments
- Handle tickets, change requests, and enhancements within SLA
- Drive continuous improvement and automation within Treasury processes
- Maintain high-quality documentation and knowledge transfer
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with global teams, business users, and technical stakeholders
- Act as a subject matter expert for Treasury-related queries
- Support training, user adoption, and process alignment across markets
Essential Skills & Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in SAP Finance/Treasury environments
- Strong expertise in SAP Treasury modules (Cash Management, TRM, BCM)
- Solid experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance configuration
- Experience with FIT/GAP analysis and global template rollouts
- Strong understanding of banking integrations (SWIFT, host-to-host, middleware)
- Experience with IDocs, RFCs, and interface processing
- ABAP debugging and technical understanding
- Strong testing experience (unit, integration, SIT)
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ALM platforms

- SAP certifications (Finance / S/4HANA / Treasury)
- Experience with SAP Fiori and HANA environments
- SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity and Advanced Payment Management
- Serrala Finance Suite
- Knowledge of EBICS, SWIFT, and bank connectivity standards
- Experience in global finance transformation programmes
- Agile/DevOps delivery experience
- German language skills
Qualifications
- Degree in IT, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proven experience delivering SAP Treasury solutions in S/4HANA environments
