SUMMARY:
Manage the SAP AMS service across three productive SAP instances and one master data instance for So

POSITION INFO:

  • Manage the SAP AMS service across three productive SAP instances and one master data instance for South Africa, UK and Canada.

â—‹       Manage the  SAP AMS Finance, Logistics and technical team consisting of functional and technical leads who take accountability for AMS services in their areas of responsibility across the various SAP instances, businesses and countries.

â—‹       Manage the service performance of the AMS outsource service provider (Accenture) against the SLA agreed for the geographies and services in scope.

â—‹       Manage the integration of the SAP AMS service and solution across various third-party solutions and service providers.

â—‹       Manage Change requests and inflight projects in the business as usual (BAU) landscape via accountable AMS team members and solution providers.

â—‹       Manage the SAP landscape and security via accountable AMS team members

â—‹       Manage the BAU SAP and associated solution landscape (Basis, Solman and the associated tech landscapes) to ensure SLA compliance via accountable AMS team members.

â—‹       Manage the service performance of the SAP landscape vendor

â—‹       Manage the service integration and service performance between service centre, landscape, AMS, third party and De Beers service providers

â—‹       Manage the solution integration between multi-SAP (and other) systems.

â—‹       Manage the license compliance of SAP and related systems.

â—‹       Manage the costs against budget for the SAP and related AMS services.

  • Manage approved ongoing and Anglo project and BAU initiatives requiring data or change requests on BAU SAP and related systems e.g. Audit tools, SOX compliance initiatives, security initiatives, statutory change initiatives, priority BAU change requests.
  • Work with the global design authority to help prioritize and integrate BAU and project demand such that this can be rationalized during the life of the OneSAP programme.
  • Manage the Service introduction of SAP solutions delivered by the OneSAP programme into the BAU landscape.

â—‹       Ensure Service introduction initiatives are in place to address service risks and ensure sustainable, stable AMS services for the S/4 and related solutions received

â—‹       Ensure Service introduction gates are met by the OneSAP programme prior to handover of S/4 and related solutions to AMS

  • Centrally manage the tracking and release of transports across the BAU and Project landscapes such that the BAU landscape always remains synchronized with the project landscape.  Parallel landscapes will be established by the OneSAP project and clear governance must be established to ensure the BUA landscape (post project) is not contaminated by BAU initiatives or project initiatives during the life of the project.
  • Post the conversion of the first landscape onto S/4 and the successful service introduction of this landscape to AMS, manage the AMS service and the landscape service of this new S/4 offering.
  • Manage the S/4 AMS service against the Service level agreement for all businesses migrated onto the new S/4 instance (after successful service introduction of the solutions).  The scope will grow to include approximately 12 countries covering in a 24x7 offering.
  • Ensure that the AMS team and the service providers are equipped to provide an effective AMS service on the single instance of S/4.
  • Ensure service continuity processes are in place to be able to provide a 24x7 AMS and landscape service to clients across the globe.

  • A minimum of 5 years of SAP functional service experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of SAP technical service experience
  • SAP AMS management experience
  • SAP Integration management experience
  • SAP project and Change management experience
  • SAP landscape management experience
  • SAP Change control and release management experience
  • Demand management experience
  • Customer service experience
  • SAP formal service introduction experience
  • Experience in managing teams of 5-10 in size supported by large, outsourced teams of service providers
  • Experience in successfully managing service level agreements and extracting performance from service vendors
  • Experience in successfully managing service integration and integrated service escalations (across multi-vendor service offerings)
