SAP AMS Finance Specialist

SUMMARY:
●Mange and coordinate project work. This includes preparing project charters, solution proposal and

POSITION INFO:

• Manage and drive day to day operational support (level 2/3) in collaboration with the Application Management Service (AMS) partner. 
• Manage any escalations from business to timely resolution with the AMS partner;
• For Enhancements, work with the business to complete business requirement documents (BRD) and ensure that the appropriate level of detail has been included.  This position will also obtain appropriate approvals from business prior to submitting BRD to AMS partner for an estimate;
• Manage the BRD delivery with the AMS partner through the entire cycle.  This includes the following:

â—‹       Reviewing the functional design specification and estimate provided by the AMS partner to ensure that the solution will meet the requirements identified by the business and to challenge the approach/estimate if necessary;

â—‹       Manage the AMS partner to deliver to contracted SLA’s (estimate);

â—‹       Manage the UAT with the business;

â—‹       Manage the governance of changes that are being moved into SAP production.  Note:  The AMS partner does the functional configuration for support, enhancements and projects.  The SAP AMS Finance Lead needs to have a strong knowledge of configuration to be able to validate the approach that is being recommended by the AMS partner;

• Mange and coordinate project work.  This includes preparing project charters, solution proposal and weekly project updates and ongoing alignment with the wider S/4 upgrade programme team;
• Day to day interaction with various stakeholders including customers in the various business units and IT service providers, liaising with colleagues across all sections of the Global IM department;
• Maintains the customer service focus thus ensuring that the provisioning of services meet the needs of the business;
• Working effectively as a team member providing support, maintaining communication and updating other team members and business on progress and status;
• Drive ongoing meetings with key business stakeholders to discuss status on enhancements, projects and opportunities for improvements i.e. weekly/monthly.
• Work self-directed and independently

Experience:

• 6 + years of SAP Finance (FICO) Functional experience, including configuration;
• 2 + years of experience leading managing SAP FI projects (active examples of change management, implementing new SAP FI functionality, SAP upgrades, etc.).
• Support in the following modules: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Project System

Experience in following essential:

• SAP Solution Delivery Management;
• Experience working with SAP AMS partner;
• Business Process, Analysis and Design;
• Business Process Support;  
• Project management;
• The following experience/certification would be advantageous:

â—‹       Experience working with SAP Concur and BPC solutions;

â—‹       SAP BW

â—‹       SAP certification in SAP Finance;

â—‹       Experience with Business Intelligence tools; and

â—‹       S/4 HANA will be beneficial.

â—‹       SAP Logistics – MM and PM integration and knowledge
