SAP Archiving Consultant (1461)

POSITION INFO:
The Role:

We are looking for an SAP Archiving Consultant for a 12-month fixed term contract Position with our client based in Centurion/Pretoria.

Willing and able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time (Internationally) with a Valid Driverâ??s License.

 

We require a minimum 5 yearsâ?? work experience in the following Functional Skills:

• Experience across all SAP modules (advantage)
• Min 5 yearsâ?? experience exposed to user applications
• Min 4 years ABAP programming, 2 yearâ??s systems analysis
• Motor or related manufacturing experience
• Archiving Objects
• Database Growth Analysis
• Infrastructure Management
• Fair knowledge across all SAP modules
• Initial focus on master data
• Ability to assist with problem identification and possible solution by means of skills such as code debugging
• The following functional skills are essential:
• Documentation of as-is and to-be business processes
• Coordinate with other module SAP Consultants for Integration requirements
• Provide System Proposal / System Design Specifications to Technical team for any Customized developments objects
• Preparation of test cases and user manuals
• Support experience

 

Minimum educational level:

• Degree in IT or relevant experience

 

We require a minimum 5 yearsâ?? work experience in the following skills:

• S/4HANA Functional experience will be advantageous
• Solution Manager experience will be advantageous
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
• DVM (Data Volume Management)
• Solution Manager incl CHARM
• Operations and Projects
• Data Archiving
• Current status of SAP database
• Analysing database and table growth â?? DB monitoring ongoing process for Operations
• Archiving timeline
• Data Analysis - Object level
• Scheduling and monitoring all data archiving jobs
• Technical Customizing
• Activation of Archive Info Structures
• Assistance in training users (where relevant) on archive document retrieval
• New Storage System migration testing
• Upgrade testing (Archiving and Storage)
