SAP Consultant - SAP SD DevOps Consultant (1552)

POSITION INFO:
The Role:

We are looking for an SAP Consultant - SAP SD DevOps Consultant for a fixed term contract Position with our client based in Midrand and Pretoria.

 

Willing and able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time (Internationally) with a Valid Driverâ??s License.

 

Minimum educational level:

• Degree in IT or relevant experience
• SAP SD certification

 

We require a minimum 8 yearsâ?? work experience in:

• SAP Sales Distribution
• SAP Materials Management (advantageous)
• MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio PowerPoint)
• JIRA and Confluence
• Preparing test data for testing of CRâ??s (Change Requests)
• Testing CRâ??s (Change Requests) and preparing test results

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand the business requirements, preparing AS-IS, and TO-BE documents and get sign-off from users for functional and/or technical design document(s)
• Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes
• ABAP debugging beneficial (Workbench related knowledge of new development/enhancements)
• Setting up the organization structure for Sales Distribution processes and perform all relevant configuration, including Materials Management where integration requires this
• Preparation of testing documents and perform internal testing
• Preparation of Sales Distribution templates for various objects e.g. sales orders
• Integration testing with other modules
• Understand interfaces, IDOC and RFC''s processing
• Preparing the cut over strategy for SD objects
• Preparing User manuals and conducting training to business process owners
• Go-live preparation and post Go-live support
• Interaction with clients through meetings, calls and emails
• Receiving, troubleshooting, resolving and closing Operational and Maintenance tickets within defined SLAâ??s (Service Level Agreements)
• Responsible for troubleshooting issues for the system and providing support
• Executing the required changes through configuration
• Executing the analysis and resolution of Production Support calls
• Raising Change Requests (CRâ??s) and writing Functional Specifications for them
• Carrying out regression testing
• Interact with consultants of other modules
• User interface transactional solutions
• Analyse and scope End-user authorisation roles
• Update and maintain documentation as an existing systemâ??s functionality is changed
• Execution according to the Agile Methodology and attending of all team meetings, including Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Planning meetings etc.
• Daily use of the Agile Tool Chain, as per the updates required by the respective feature team(s)
