POSITION INFO:

We are looking for SAP Consultant - Senior SAP DevOps Developer for a fixed term contract Position with our client based in Midrand and Pretoria.

We are looking for passionate SAP DevOps person to join our EVEREST System product team as a part of the unique system environment, one of the standalone global SAP ERP landscapes.

EVEREST provides a holistic Logistics solution for the pre-series development of new models, prototype vehicles and Motorsport division of the Groupâ??s future driving machines.

 

Minimum educational level:

• Degree/ Diploma in IT
• BCom / BSc Degree
• ABAP certification

 

We require the following work experience in:

• 8+ Yearsâ?? experience ABAP programming language
• 5+ Yearsâ?? experience Operations Support experience
• Agile working experience advantageous
• Experience in testing (manual or automated testing)
• Understanding of integration between different technologies
• Coordination between development and support environments
• Assisting with the business case
• Planning and monitoring
• Eliciting requirements
• Requirementâ??s organisation
• Translating and simplifying requirements
• Requirements management and communication
• Requirementâ??s analysis
• Document requirements in appropriate format depending on methodology followed
• Assist with identification and management of risks

 

Duties and responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance on platform/application
• Review and present proposed system solution to IT Project Manager / Leader and User Management or System owner
• Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements
• Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards)
• Meet with end users and gather requirements
• Facilitate daily stand-ups
• Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required
• User training
• Compiling of user and operational manuals System audits
• Users sign off
• Able to work in different time zones when required.
• Able to work support hours where needed.
• Willing and able to travel internationally.

 

Required Technical / Functional Skills:

• Troubleshooting system defects (debug)
