SUMMARY:
SAP DEPUTY ACCOUNTING MANAGER, 12 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT position available for client Based in KZN

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

• A Deputy Accounting Manager position (12 months fixed term contract) has become available in the Finance Department
• This position is responsible for providing support to the Financial Manager and the Financial Controller to maintain the integrity of the financial accounting function following sound accounting practices, legislative requirements, and company policies and standards.

Qualification:

• Honors Degree in Accounting as a minimum.

• Big Four articles advantageous.

• CIMA or CA(SA) qualifications advantageous.

Experience:

• 3 – 5 Years’ post articles/degree experience with a minimum of 1-2 years in a Management role.

• SAP experience is essential.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Departmental Management - Effectively manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Team

• Free Cash Flow Contribution - Managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets

• Expenditure & Risk Management - Analyse expenditure to minimize risk

• Manage the Financial Reporting and analysis function

• Assist the Financial Manager and Financial Controller in effective tax management

• Assist the Financial Manager and Financial Controller with effective Corporate Governance

• Effective Treasury/cash management

• Lead, direct and manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions

• Maintain and improve SHERQ performance within the department

• Manage and implement Continuous Improvements and Projects for the department.

• Candidates must be willing to work irregular hours if required and must be willing to travel as and when required.
• A valid driver’s license, strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft packages, as well as an understanding of business systems is a necessity.
