SAP FICO Specialist (K4)

SUMMARY:
Gijima Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a client, seeking an experienced SAP FI Specialist with strong expertise in Finance and Controlling to join their team.
This role is ideal for a candidate with a mix of implementation and support experience, who thrives in complex SAP environments and is passionate about technology, innovation, and process improvement. The successful candidate will play a key role in the migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA while providing ongoing SAP support across sites.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications & Experience:

• B-Degree in Finance and/or IT or equivalent NQF6 qualification with relevant work experience.
• SAP Finance (FI) and/or Controlling (CO) certification advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Finance, Controlling, Treasury, or Asset Management business processes.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in SAP Finance/Controlling ERP environment.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP FI-CO integration with Production Planning (PP/PP-PI).
• Knowledge of Material Ledger, New GL, Profitability Analysis, Readsoft integration, and Global Spreadsheet Server advantageous.
• Exposure to cross-site coordination, multiple roles, and business process improvements.

• Serve as custodian and expert in SAP Finance, Controlling, Procure-to-Pay, and Plant Maintenance modules, including cross-module integration.
• Lead SAP configuration, implementation, and enhancements; provide high-level technical specifications and solutions.
• Manage maintenance and development requests, including planning, testing, and implementation.
• Ensure Service Level Management adherence and maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.
• Support the migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, including new functionality configuration and cross-site coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of SAP support.
• Liaise with 3rd party suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring proper quotation, approval, and implementation processes.
• Participate in SAP user groups, special interest groups, and technology innovation forums.

• Strong SAP configuration and implementation experience.
• Sound knowledge of costing, budgeting principles, financial systems, and balance sheet optimization.
