SUMMARY:
SAP Functional Consultant – SCP: MM/PP
long-term contract

POSITION INFO:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

Good working knowledge of SAP APO/PP/MM customizing: setting up /customizing of Process Chains, batch job variants, Core interface integration models, custom tables and master data chains to suit specific markets within ATLAS and WIT
Supply Chain planning tools and methodologies.
Expert knowledge of Demand Planning module
Expert/Working understanding of the Material Planning process, i.e., MRP- replenishment, stock ordering, inventory management, Purchase requisition/order creation and order proposal generation and interfacing to planning and ordering tools
Expert knowledge of the core interfaces and operational activities i.e., housekeeping, daily monitoring, batch job monitoring and queue monitoring.
Expert trouble shooting skill to handle Incidents and user tickets within the Business SLA.
Working knowledge of the supply chain processes, especially around purchasing, imports, materials planning, forecasting and distribution.
JIRA and Confluence, especially X-ray test suite.
Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:

Supply chain planning tools e.g IBP, APO
S4/Hana implementation/migration
ABAP debugging beneficial (Workbench related knowledge of new development/enhancements).
Working experience of S4/Hana implementation
Take consultative approach to challenge customers’ requested solution design, should a better alternative exist.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively (verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues/users.
Strong Presentation skills.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
Willingness to engage with foreign customers and be sensitive to possible language barriers and culture differences.
Ability to work as part of an agile team, inter dependent and independently to submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality.
Above board work ethics – this is of utmost importance.
Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project.
Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required.
Solution and results orientated with strong customer focus.
Willing and able to travel extensively, for up to 2 weeks at a time (international).
Working understanding of SAP master data objects
Working understanding of inbound and outbound interfaces and batch jobs that are responsible for creating PP / MM documents relating to the Order to cash process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Relevant IT / Business Degree or equivalent experience.
Certification in SAP PP/MM
SAP S4/Hana Certification
