I am urgently looking to fill in below roles

3 months contract opportunities

Location: Preferably CT based but flexible on that and it can be remote work

1. General Accounting business analyst:

We have a number of open item managed accounts, as well as our custom developed reconciliation tool. This tool works on the similar basis as open item managed accounts on SAP, with the difference being that it is a custom built solution for our policy admin systems and their control accounts integration on SAP IA. We believe there are a number of areas in this space where improvements can be gained. It also includes investigating an unexpected high volume of journals still being processed by business. So a business analyst that can look into this area will be helpful.

2. SAP security resource

Security resource with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA SAP Security experience.

They will be involved in executing remedial actions as part of a access risk clean up from ARA reports generated from SAP Access Control. They should be familiar with the change management process in ChaRM to transport role changes. Should also be familiar with maintenance of business roles in SAP Access Control.

3. SAP functional resource

Someone with skills wider than just FI, specifically:

1. FI-AP (Financial Accounting - Accounts Payable) - LIV/AP/Payment Run/Interface to banking institution/Clearing/Vendor Reconciliation

2. FI (Financial Accounting) - Sub-Modules include - G/L Ledger (VAT - Complex), Cross-Company Code Config (Complex), Fiori Upload functionality - Journals, Reclassification, Reporting (via FIORI analytic tools) - Statutory. FI-AR (Revenue Account Determination, Age Analysis, Customer Allocation, Customer Clearing), FI-BA (Algorithm, House Bank Definition, External Code Updates, Integration to Bank Institutions - Bank Statements and Credit Card Statements)

3. CO (Controlling) - Sub-Modules, CCA/PCA/Cost Element Accounting/Cost Allocation/Reporting - Management

4. SD (Sales and Distribution) - SO/GI/BIL (no complex Condition Types)/Interfacing - Billing

5. MM (Material Management) - PR/PO/SES/GR (excl. Warehouse Management)

6. CO/PS (Controlling & Project Systems) - WBS Hierarchy, WBS Element Definition, Budgeting, Settlement Rules, Cost Allocation

4. SAP functional reporting

The Reporting Component is fairly broad (covering Statutory and Management reports) but is structured around the following functionality:

> SAP Standard Fiori Analytics

> SAP Business Objects Reporting

> A40 Reporting

5. SAP P2P

Although we have a P2P BA, we do see a short term need for an additional BA in this space. Below is an extract from the role requirements for our business analysts, with the responsibility areas highlighted where support will be appreciated. Business adoption is still a challenge and the learning curve is steep for users. A revision of the integration of business’ way of working into the new P2P solution warrants a review, which may lead to solution enhancements or further business training.

The key responsibilities of the role include the following:

• Research of SAP solutions / new technologies / new releases that can enable business requirements / process improvements.
• Perform business requirements analysis for existing and new requirements, including:
• Facilitate resolution of all relevant process issues with relevant stakeholders as required.
• Articulate how the various change requirements can be met across the different dimensions of people, process, data and technology.
• Work with the programme’s Functional Build team to articulate requirements.
• Update any necessary requirements documentation
• Document the necessary processes in the relevant tool.
• Organise appropriate sign-off on updated designs
• Raise awareness within the business around updated designs
• Build relationships with key business unit stakeholders that perform/ manage the capability in question.
• Inform / update / quality assure the training documentation related to the solution.
• Inform / update / quality assure the test cases / testing documentation related to the solution.
• Support the testing of the solution by carrying out testing.
• Support the deployment of the application to multiple businesses by participating in End User training sessions and providing End User support.
• Assist in driving any operational implementation requirements (e.g. communications to teams; updating of policy documentation etc.)

• Hosting workshops to demonstrate the new SAP Solution, or desired process; and
• Gathering feedback from multiple business units to inform analysis.
