POSITION INFO:

SAP Project Manager to provide SAP project management services and lead a team of SAP technical and functional maintenance support Consultant. Preference will be given to a broad based SAP project manager who is experienced across a number of the SAP modules such as HCM (OS, PD, TM and Payroll), FI, CO, AM, MM, PS, Travel Management, ESS and MSS, the required Functional / Application Support Specialists should be experience in supporting SAP ERP environment and broad SAP functional / application support experience extending beyond two or more modules.
This is a maintenance and support role which in general terms spans over all the maintenance and support roles of the SAP - ERP implemented by the Commission. These roles and responsibilities will underpin all support and maintenance activities of the whole SAP, supporting both back-end and portal implementations.

The required project manager will lead and manage the SAP ERP maintenance and support team.

b) Determine the team approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule.
c) Develop and/or review estimates and estimating assumptions for the team’s schedule, effort, and cost using established estimating models, best practices, and past experience. The resulting estimates account for all activities in the project scope, including project management and application development tasks, software quality assurance reviews, and vendor and contract management activities.
d) Define team member roles and expectations, and ensure timely feedback. Ensure that team resources receive any necessary training and are used effectively.
e) Define a communications plan to effectively disseminate key messages.
f) Participate in quality management reviews by examining training, performance support, and communication work products to ensure that they meet requirements and   standards   and   accomplish   their   objectives   while   enabling   the   system stakeholders.
g) Identify areas for continuous improvement, and implement changes.
h) Review, and be responsible for, the overall configuration, development and integration of requirements.
i) Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations. Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks. Make adjustments as necessary.
j) Define the team iterations strategy.
k) Manage and evaluate iterations.
l) Ensure that all requirements, project plans, and changes to system and scope are communicated to all affected team members.
m) Manage relationships and coordinate work within the team. Manage relationships with all stakeholders and functional owners and users
