SAP VMS Consultant (with SAP SD) (Project)

POSITION INFO:
The Role:

We are looking for an SAP VMS Consultant (with SAP SD) for a 12-month fixed term contract Position with our client based in Centurion/Pretoria.

 

Willing and able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time (Internationally) with a Valid Driverâ??s License.

 

We require a minimum 8 yearsâ?? work experience in:

• S4HANA experience
• Understand the business requirements, preparing AS-IS, and TO-BE documents and get sign-off from users for Business BluePrint document
• Strong understanding of the Sales and Distribution processes
• ABAP debugging beneficial (Workbench related knowledge of new development/enhancements)
• Integration testing from an SAP perspective with other technologies, such as Java frontend solutions
• Interface knowledge between the non-SAP and SAP technologies
• Preparing the cut over strategy for SD objects
• Preparing User manuals and conducting training to business process owners
• Go-live preparation and post Go-live support
• Interaction with clients through meetings, calls and emails
• Handling Tickets and Tasks with the responsibility for closing the same within defined SLAâ??s (Service Level Agreements)
• Responsible for troubleshooting issues for the system and providing support
• Executing the required changes through configuration
• Executing the analysis and resolution of Production Support calls
• Raising Change Requests (CRâ??s) and writing Functional Specifications for them
• Preparing test data for testing of User Stories
• Testing User Stories and preparing test results
• Carrying out regression testing
• Interact with consultants of other modules
• User interface transactional solutions

Minimum educational level:

• Degree in IT or relevant experience
• SAP SD Certification
• VMS Solid experience
• SD Certification
• VMS Certification
• MM Certification

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• SAP VMS and SD Configuration
• Development documentation
• Analyse and provide solutions to the Vehicles Sales process
• Conduct SAP SD and VMS process configuration
• Update and maintain all SAP SD and VMS functional documentation
• Analyse and scope End-user authorisation roles
• Conduct Unit tests, Integration tests and System Integration security tests
• Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes
• Support the functional team with issues and provide a solutions- based approach within
• Incident Handling and resolve within agreed SLA
• System Monitoring including IDocs Monitoring and processing
• Following the Agile Methodology ito sprints, scrum meetings, retroâ??s etc.
