POSITION INFO:

We are currently looking for an experienced SAS/ SQL Developer with the following skillset to join the team:

Essential Criteria

Minimum 5 years experience in the Information Technology industry ideally within Financial Services / Insurance
Performing more complex analysis and/or modelling that maximizes profits and/or asset growth and minimizes fraud and/or operating losses and other risk exposures
Experience in designing and developing applications using SQL, SAS
Experience in modernization projects using a systems lifecycle approach
Experience planning for and conducting implementation activities
Experience in ETL, extracting data elements from multiple sources in varied formats
Experience in reading and writing SQL code and translating logic
Experience with SQL and efficiently accessing RDBMSs, such as DB2
Experience analyzing data sources and datasets to evaluate and document data content and flows
Experience analyzing test data and datasets using automated tools (e.g., SAS)
Experience with complex programming, debugging, data analysis, problem analysis and resolving issues.
