POSITION INFO:

We are currently looking for an experienced SAS/ SQL Developer with the following skillset to join the team:

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 5 years experience in the Information Technology industry ideally within Financial Services / Insurance
• Performing more complex analysis and/or modelling that maximizes profits and/or asset growth and minimizes fraud and/or operating losses and other risk exposures
• Experience in designing and developing applications using SQL, SAS
• Experience in modernization projects using a systems lifecycle approach
• Experience planning for and conducting implementation activities
• Experience in ETL, extracting data elements from multiple sources in varied formats
• Experience in reading and writing SQL code and translating logic
• Experience with SQL and efficiently accessing RDBMSs, such as DB2
• Experience analyzing data sources and datasets to evaluate and document data content and flows
• Experience analyzing test data and datasets using automated tools (e.g., SAS)
• Experience with complex programming, debugging, data analysis, problem analysis and resolving issues.
