POSITION INFO:

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – FLORIDA – R850K TCTC

BCom Accounting + 5 years + Commercial, Costing & Fixed Asset experience in Manufacturing/FMCG environment. Excellent working knowledge of computer software, Excel & ERP systems. Responsible for Financial Reporting & Accounting, Inventory Costing & Fixed Assets. Accountable for recording cost of newly acquired fixed assets, tracking existing capital expenditure, recording depreciation & accounting for the disposition of fixed assets. Corporate experience & adherence to strict deadlines & formal reporting structures. Accounting, Tax & regulatory & financial reporting. Month-end closure, journal processing & closure of subledgers. Managing budgets around all costing systems in relation to labour, production methods & material supply. Stock reconciliations & co-ordination of stocktakes & cycle counts. Analysing P&L & Balance sheet accounts. Compile & publish standard internal & group financial month-end reporting packs. Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts per group guidelines. Monthly group, divisional & standard reporting, facilitating annual external audit, statutory compliance for local SA legal entities.
