SUMMARY:
A leading company in the restaurant industry has an exciting opportunity available for a motivated accountant to join their team.

This position will be based at their head office in the V & A Waterfront, however a semi-remote working option can be discussed.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Daily sales recons
Cash controls and banking recons
Full payroll function
Auditing of daily cash and sales control sheets
Computation of gross profit calculations
Petty cash recons
Loading of EFT’s
Recon of creditors on weekly or COD
Bookkeeping up to trial balance
Annual audit reporting
Submission of monthly and quarterly returns for SARS
Management accounts

Experience and Qualification:

A relevant tertiary degree in Accounting
Completed articles preferred (SAIPA / SAICA)
Hospitality industry experience will count in your favour
At least 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Pastel
Knowledge of Micros point of sale and back of house would be a recommendation but is not a necessity
