SENIOR ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN (EE) R30 000 - R60 000 SOMERSET WEST

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

BTech / Advanced Diploma in Electronics
5 Years’ Experience in Heavy and Light Current Electronics
First line maintenance of over 400 power supplies
Breakdown repairs of power supplies
Fault finding and fixing of interface/control electronics
Specification, design, procurement, testing, and implementation of new power supplies.
Replacement of legacy power supplies
Standby duties and overtime
Skills in soldering
Electronic module testing and repair
Sound knowledge of analog and digital electronics
Sound knowledge of high power electronics
Dealing with electronic components and suppliers.
PLC Programming
GUI Design
Control system and instrumentation designs
Administration skills regarding stores management
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Analytical thinking skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
