SUMMARY:
Our client in the Citrus Farming industry is inviting suitably experienced candidates to apply for the Senior Farm Supervisor position in the Fort Beaufort area.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:
- 3 years experience in a supervisory or similar role
- Valid driver’s license
- Related qualifications advantageous
- Technically strong e.g., irrigation scheduling, spray calibration etc.
- Mechanical knowledge.
- Preventative maintenance orientated.
- Knowledge of general agricultural practices (H&S, SIZA, GlobalG.A.P.)
- Computer literate.
- Strong admin skills.
- Above average motivational & leadership skills relating to a big workforce.
- Deadline driven.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime.
- The potential candidate must possess a moderate level of fitness and be in good health.
Ability to speak Xhosa advantageous.
