The role of the Financial manager is to provide strategic and operational financial direction to the business, reporting into the Group CFO.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

SENIOR FINANCIAL MANAGER / HEAD OF FINANCE

R1.5 – R2.2M bonus included

Cape Town northern suburbs

The role of the Financial manager is to provide strategic and operational financial direction to the business, reporting into the Group CFO.

(A very detailed job description will be provided to the candidates who meets the basic requirements of the position.)

The ideal candidate will have a strong financial accounting background, coupled with commerce experience or at least a MBA-type of qualification on top of the CA.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Registered Chartered Accountant (SA)
Proven experience developing and managing new frameworks, processes and procedures to enable a growing business while ensuring rigorous compliance
Depth of financial expertise with proven skills in financial accounting, budgeting, reporting and risk management
Strong business acumen with general knowledge of business outside of the financial sphere
Ideal candidate will come from very fast paced industry - definitely not public services nor financial services
