SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (Contaminated Land Investigations speciality) - Durban, KZN

SUMMARY:
Honours / Masters / PHD Degree in Hydrogeology / Geology / Environmental Sciences

POSITION INFO:

This role is a strategic, long-term and high-level appointment for our international client in the environmental services and consulting sector.

Seeking Honours / Masters / PHD Degreed applicants with a minimum of 8 years experience in a Project Management / Senior PM capacity, with experience in undertaking and managing contaminated land investigations, as well as a strong Business Development background.

• Experience in Site Assessment, Risk Assessment and Remediation of Contaminated Sites
• Experience in design, installation and management of in-situ remediation systems (mandatory)
• Strong Project Management skills including:  proposal writing, budget tracking, project scheduling, quality control etc
• Experience gained within the Oil & Gas, Chemical / Fine Chemical and Manufacturing sectors preferred
• Track record of building client relationships in one or more of these sectors, would be an added advantage
• Travelling throughout Africa will be required
• Candidates who have published articles, opinion pieces and who presented at local / international conference will be preferred
