MARKET RELATED SALARY - DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE 

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements: Matric, post Civil Engineering Degree 5 years' underwriting experience (This is NOT a data capturing\/processing position) Preferably have engineering experience Must be FAIS compliant - or be prepared to study towards relevant Regulatory Examination and Insurance qualification Must be able to analyse and assess risks Must have attention to detail Must be client focused and very service orientated Must have good communication skills Must have good negotiation skills including initiative Must be a team player Must have working knowledge of Microsoft WORD and EXCEL Product knowledge and knowledge of wordings is an advantage Underwrite, rating and risk analysis and quote on new business Feedback on market intelligence including trends in respect of cover and rates Respond to queries and resolve them satisfactorily within scope of authority General administration which entails following up on quotations and renewals, checking that policies are processed and sent out and corresponding with brokers Time Management Underwriting (Endorsements, Amendments, Cancellations, Queries) Consultant: Amelia Dienie - Dante Personnel Cape Town Apply via our website If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please accept that your application was unsuccessful
