Join an established and employee-centric marketing agency as their SEO and Social Media Specialist based in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring search algorithms set by search engines to keep up with changes in the SEO landscape
• Developing and integrating content marketing strategies for clients
• Using social media to distribute content and encourage external sites to link back to the site of the organisation
• Driving targeted and loyal traffic to the website through effective community-building
• Employing user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimisation methods to turn visitors into active users
• Continually check search terms, rankings and analytics to monitor the performance of websites and make recommendations for improvement
• Build and execute social media strategy
• Create/ refine/ publish and share daily contentÂ
• Generate and perfect company pages within a variety of social media platforms to increase the visibility of company’s social content

Requirements

• Proven experience within SEO and social media
• Excellent skills in: writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills, social analytics tools
• Knowledge of web design, web development and online marketing
