POSITION INFO:

Join an established and employee-centric marketing agency as their SEO and Social Media Specialist based in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities

Monitoring search algorithms set by search engines to keep up with changes in the SEO landscape
Developing and integrating content marketing strategies for clients
Using social media to distribute content and encourage external sites to link back to the site of the organisation
Driving targeted and loyal traffic to the website through effective community-building
Employing user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimisation methods to turn visitors into active users
Continually check search terms, rankings and analytics to monitor the performance of websites and make recommendations for improvement
Build and execute social media strategy
Create/ refine/ publish and share daily contentÂ
Generate and perfect company pages within a variety of social media platforms to increase the visibility of companyâ€™s social content

Requirements

Proven experience within SEO and social media
Excellent skills in: writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills, social analytics tools
Knowledge of web design, web development and online marketing
