SETA Executive

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a SETA Executive who will be responsible for driving the Business School’s engagement with all 21 Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) and related entities to unlock discretionary, solicited and unsolicited funding opportunities. This role also focuses on programme and skills programmes development and accreditation, solicited and unsolicited tender and proposal submissions, programme alignment to sector skills plans and the establishment and management of key engagements and partnerships with Skills Development Facilitators (SDF’s) and various stakeholders to direct SETA-aligned training to the Business School.

POSITION INFO:
Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage key SETA relationships across various sectors
• Submit compelling proposals in response to Discretionary Grant (DG) calls.
• Align the school's programmes with SETA frameworks and skills gaps.
• Partner with corporates and SDFs to drive funding model.
• Represent the school at SETA forums, roadshows and regional events.
• Develop and Accredit key programmes and skills programmes with key bodies such as QCTO/SETA’s and Professional bodies.

• Deep understanding of SETA structures, WSP/ATR frameworks, PIVOTAL and DISCRETIONARY grant funding applications.
• Proposal and grant request submissions.
• Project management and reporting of funded training
• Stakeholder engagement and SDF engagement mobilisation.

• Degree in Skills Development, HR, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in SETA liaison, funding submission and/or SDF engagements and coordination.
• Strong network within the SETA and SDF ecosystems.
