SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a SHE Officer (HVK).

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: SHE Officer (HVK)
Location: Netherlands
Salary: To be discussed in the Interview
Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Degree or diploma in Safety, Environmental Management, or related field.
Experience in SHE management in high-voltage or industrial settings.
In-depth knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Beneficial requirements:

Strong communication and leadership skills.
SHE Officer certification or equivalent.

Duties and responsibilities:

Implement and monitor SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) systems in high-voltage (HV) environments.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Train staff on safety procedures and protocols.
Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations.
Collaborate with management to create safety improvement plans.
