POSITION INFO:

Automotive Manufacturing plant based in East London is looking for a SHEQ Engineer to join their dynamic team

Role responsibilities:

• Supervise the quality department in the factory
• Ensure that the plant is safe and conforms to the statutory requirements
• Actively participate, encourage, apply and enforce the compliance of a ‘safe and healthy’ work place environment
• Ensure the plant is operated in an environmentally safe and responsible manner
• Maintain IATF16949 system, and ensure compliance with audit requirements
• Perform and lead quality audits at local suppliers

Minimum requirements:

• Quality related qualification
• Health and Safety related qualification
• IATF16949
• Automotive manufacturing experience essential
