POSITION INFO:

Our client, a renowned organisation in the electrical manufacturing industry is seeking to URGENTLY appoint a dynamic SHEQ Manager to join their team, based in the Southern Suburbs of Johannesburg.

PLEASE NOTE:

• A benchmarked CTC Compensation Package of Basic Salary R 45K – R 55K per month is on offer.

KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

• At minimum a Grade 12 / Equivalent, backed by an appropriate Tertiary qualification is essential.
• Relevant Technical qualifications essential.
• At least 5 years’ experience as SHEQ Manager in Electrical Manufacturing industry
• Must have a proper understanding of Letter of Approvals (LOA) and Test reports.
• Must have a technical understanding in the electrical manufacturing industry.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Successfully handle OHS audits and Quality Audits ensuring compliance to regulations and standards.
• Ensure Health & Safety and Quality policies & procedures are updated & displayed throughout the company.
• Ensure safety & quality inspections are conducted by relevant department in responsible area.
• Improve the QMS by establishing record keeping and data.
• Ensure QC & QA inspections, records of raw materials & finished products & scrap are properly managed.
