• Grade 12.
• National Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant local safety, security and environmental legislation:

Key Performance Areas:
• Ensuring that processes required for the Quality Management System are
established, implemented and maintained.
• Ensuring that processes required for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System are established,
implemented and maintained.
• Carry out internal Quality audits & SHE self-assessments.
• Follow-up on non-conformities (NCR''''''''''''''''s).
• Ensure follow-up on action plans after audit findings
• Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations, initiate corrective measures and ensure follow-up on action plans. Participate in the review of the enviromental plan.
• Inspecting workplaces, investigating accidents, causes of ill-health and complintants.
• Inspecting workplaces to enforce safety regulations.
• Examining ways to improve health and safety standards.
• Performing risk assessments on critical tasks.
