SHEQ Specialist

Implementation of the SHEQ strategy implementation across all his/her area of responsibility.

Provide SHEQ support for the water manufacturing and front end sales, also to ensure SHEQ compliance to all applicable legislation and any other requirements to which the company subscribes to.

• Oversee SHEQ certification activities. ISO45000, 14000, 9001 responsible care
• Take part in the insurance audits
• Ensure that all SHEQ management systems, technology and processes are managed, maintained and continuously improved
• Take part in the development of Company Standards
• Develop, review and implement Company Water SHEQ systems procedures.
• Ensure that SHEQ governance and compliance processes are implemented and maintained. Legal compliance audits 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audits.
• Issue relevant reports on gaps, non?compliance, assurance deviations and improvement opportunities.
• Measure the SHEQ Framework effectiveness through facilitating and/or coordinating management reviews and Maturity Assessments.
• Ensure our company adheres to SHE legal and other obligations.
• Ensure that all SHEQ management systems, technology and processes are managed, maintained and continuously improved
• Train the relevant people on the requirements and SHEQ systems
• Ensure Company Water compliance strategy is implemented across all sites

• National diploma or suitable qualification in SHEQ Management. B Tech will be an advantage
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the plant production environment
• Implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 17027/8
• Auditor Training a must
• Incident investigation training a must.
• Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Training a must
• Legal Compliance Training a must
• Environmental Law training an advantage a must
• Experience / training in Process Safety principles an advantage.
• Excellent computer skills (especially Excel and Outlook, SAP, ISOMETRIX, Sharepoint, Smartsheet).
• Drivers license.
