SUMMARY:
Minimum of 7 years operational Safety / SHERQ Officer experience in a Mining / Engineering environment. Minimum of 2 years operational Risk assessment experience in a Mining / Engineering environment (Essential) Total of 7 years’ experience

POSITION INFO:

Our client has a long standing reputation in the mining of iron ore, manganese and chrome. Closing date for applications: 29 October 2020

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 (Essential)
  • Competent A Certificate Surface Mining (Essential)
  • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Safety Management / Risk Management or equivalent (Essential)
  • Blasting Certificate / Rock Breaking MQA equivalent qualification (Recommended)
  • Artisan Trade Test (Red Seal) (Recommended)

Experience

  • Minimum of seven (7) years operational Safety / SHERQ Officer experience in a Mining / Engineering environment (Essential)
  • Minimum of two (2) years operational Risk assessment experience in a Mining / Engineering environment (Essential)

(Total of 7 years’ experience of which some of the experience can run concurrent)
