SNR ENGINEER

SUMMARY:
SNR MEng or MScENG MECHANICAL ENGINEER - Western Cape

POSITION INFO:
* Minimum degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng or BScEng)
* Preferred MEng or MScEng
* Technical Team Management experience with Management
   Qualification preferred
* Minimum 10 Years relevant experience in Mechanical
   Engineering
* Minimum 5 Years experience in the Defense (preferred) or other
   high Tech Industry
* Experience & understanding in the field of gun launched
   systems (Propulsion, Fragmentation and Payloads)
* Advanced simulations capabilities (FEA packages, Matlab etc.)
* Advanced Mechanical ~Design capabilities using 3D Design
  (Solid Works/Solid Edge) & PLM (Team Center) software
   packages
* Experience in Project Management
* Fundamental computer literacy: MS Office packages (Word,
   Excel, Outlook, online collaboration tools: Webex meetings

* Manage & lead Technical activities of the Development team
* Fulfil role of Technical Authority on Design, Development &
  Testing 
* Provide input to future technology demands
* Mentor & guide Jnr Engineers
* Participate when required in flight tests
