SOC L3 Engineer

POSITION INFO:

Global IT client is seeking SOC L3 Engineer to provide level 3 escalations to the SOC as well as act as an expert for security related servuces and perform SOC threat hunting and investigations. Please note - this role is remote.Â

Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience in the following is required:
  • SOC operations and tools (SIEM, EDR, etc)
  • MSP/MSSP experience
  • Microsoft Security Stack (InTune, Azure, ATP, Defender)
  • 3 +years in a SOC environment
• Experience in the following is desirable
  • Alienvault or Azure Sentinel
  • Darktrace
  • Scripting (PowerShell, Python, regex)
  • Other security tools a bonus
  • Cyber Essentials (Plus)
  • Working with a remote team
  • 5+ years in a cybersecurity environment
• Required Qualifications
  • CyberSecurity related certifications
  • Microsoft Security stack certifications
  • CISM/CISSP preferred
  • Other technical security and vendor qualifications a bonus
• Soft Skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of a client’s employees
  • Ability to present to C-level executives in a clear, concise and definitive way
  • Comfortable interacting with a remote team
  • Passion for all things CyberSec related
  • Drive to protect clients and deliver value
  • Organised and detail-oriented
