Social Media and Content Manager - Cape Town Central - R20 000 per month CTC

Heritage site and Tourist attraction seeks a Social Media and Content Manager to effectively manage all social media from strategy to execution and creates and produces content for all marketing channels. You will support the overall marketing strategy by creating and producing content aligned to campaigns and day -to–day activities. You will work hand in hand with marketing co-ordinator by effectively managing social media campaigns which in turn assists with ensuring that all marketing campaigns have a 360 view in mind including all marketing channels are included. This role also looks after social media community management.

Duties & Responsibilities

Creating Social media strategy, using current trends with aims to increase engagement across all channels which works hand in hand with the marketing strategy.

Creating all content including video content for social media campaigns and marketing campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok

Assisting marketing co-ordinator with influencer sourcing for inclusion in social media and marketing campaigns.

Assisting our marketing co-ordinator with tracking all measurables of all influencer campaigns and reporting on the success metrics.

Aligning and co-ordinating with agencies re: extra social media content creation – photography when needed.

Collating results to track the success of all social media campaigns

Responsible for reports due monthly and quarterly on the Social Media marketing strategy successes and to do’s.

Desired Experience & Qualification

3 years’ experience in a relevant position

Diploma in Marketing/Journalism/Digital Marketing

Ability to positively influence

Data Analysis

Highly creative

Writing and editing skills

Understanding of the industry and our business'' mission

Education and exp

Degree or National diploma
