We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer / ETL Developer with at least 3 years of experience to join our Business Intelligence (BI) delivery team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining data integration and BI solutions using the Microsoft technology stack. This role requires strong SQL expertise, hands-on SSIS experience, and a solid understanding of data warehousing principles to support reporting, analytics, and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, optimise, and maintain complex SQL Server queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.

Build, enhance, and support ETL pipelines using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to ingest, transform, and load data into data warehouses and data marts.

Participate in BI projects, delivering trusted datasets for dashboards, reports, and analytical models.

Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Design and support dimensional data models (fact and dimension tables).

Troubleshoot performance issues and optimise SQL Server and SSIS packages.

Maintain technical documentation, including ETL mappings, data models, and process flows.

Support deployments and production environments using Azure DevOps or similar tools.

Apply best practices for version control, change management, and CI/CD within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a SQL / BI / ETL Developer.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL), including performance tuning and query optimisation.

Proven experience developing ETL solutions using SSIS.

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modelling (Star/Snowflake schemas).
