A consulting company is looking for a seasoned SQL Developer to start as soon as possible, so if you fit the below criteria then you should be applying right now! With nearly 23 years of experience, specializing in software development is on the lookout for a Senior SQL Developer. You will form part of a team involved in the healthcare administration sector, gaining experience across South Africa, Australia, and Botswana.

Job Description:

Your main objective will be to develop additional functionality and maintain existing functionality for their various interface platforms

The successful individual will serve a pivotal role within the Product Engineering team through developing elegant SQL software solutions

You will be required to conduct thorough industry research while consulting with end-users and studying the data flow usage and consequent work processes to ensure optimal delivery throughout the SDLC

Skills & Experience:

At least 5 years experience working as a Java Developer

Experienced in SQL, HTML and XML

Knowledge of FTP, SFTP and FTPS using Java

Experience with glassfish will be beneficial

Proficiency in the following:

MS Excel

Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS

Cloud-based data technologies (Azure and no-SQL)

SQL Server optimization, database administration and security

Data migration and modelling

ETL

Qualification:

Any relevant qualification will be beneficial. Completed Degree or National Diploma in a relevant field of study
