JOB DESCRIPTION:

STOCK CONTROLLER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To maintain records of stock and to reconcile discrepancies in inventory and notify the supervisor of any irregularities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

Perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports

Re-stock items as necessary

Perform routine clerical duties including data entry

Ensure that the ERP system is kept up to date

Manage and maintain stock audits on a regular basis

Any ad-hoc duties that are required

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE

Matric

Good communication skills

Excellent stock management skills

3 years’ experience in stock control

Good analytical skills

Must be able to speak English and Afrikaans (or a third language)
