POSITION INFO:
GROCERY STORE MANAGER
1x Burgersfort
1x Nelspruit area.
(Example: Spar, Checkers, Shoprite, Pick n Pay etc.)
Salary negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications
Management duties including, but not limited to:
- Staff management
- Stock management
- Driving sales and ensuring theft levels are kept to a minimum
- Customer service
- Store standards and housekeeping
- Enforcing company policies and procedures
- Risk Management and the Occupational Health and Safely Act
Achieving:
- Turnover and budget
- Targeted expense savings
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or higher
- FMCG retail experience a must
- At least 3 years’ store management experience
- A solid retail background
- A sound knowledge of retail practices, and a specific understanding of the SA legislative and financial aspects of a retail business
- Relevant IT and systems knowledge
- A Sales / Marketing Management qualification would be an advantage
