SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNING MANAGER (EE) - Cape Town

This position reports to the Head of Supply Chain.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage the national SC Replenishment Planning function for the group
• Identify ideal fulfilment models for products within departments and divisions based on sales plans, stock holding, stock cover, etc
• Act as key stakeholder responsible for planning integration between the different companies as well as departments
• Calculate ideal inventory and associated/required replenishment frequencies, including stock cover, etc.
• Establish, design, manage, and assist with the development of scalable forecasting and stock management capability
• Monitor and manage availability, and stock levels vs plan and other KPI’s
• Assist with and/or be responsible for stock balancing across the divisions
• Grow the portfolio of Replenishable products with supporting Replenishment Models
• Interaction and contribution to the S&OP Process
• System Management and optimisation in partnership with product teams
• Manage and Analyse Inventory performance and Improvement actions with the DC
• Establish and create reports for the portfolio
• Contribute to budget plans
• Grow & develop direct reporting team members
• Lead Improvement, transformation & COE (centre of excellence) roadmap for the portfolio.
• Maintain key operational metrics that measure supply chain performance driving continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor''''s Degree in Engineering, BCom or similar degree. (essential)
• Minimum 3 years in a management role within Logistics / Supply Chain
• Excellent experience with Analytics & BI tools.
• Sound operational and/or Planning background with a focus on Inventory and stock models
• Proven track record of success in delivering projects against operational and profit target

• Proven ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and draw conclusions
• Excellent experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Access).
• Ability to work with a wide range of people at all decision-making levels.
